Version V03.26 is now ready in file fzi0326.bin, to be used to update FileZerver firmware using the admin web page interface, ZerverView firmware update, or FTP. This release is for FileZerver Cyclone-2 boards with 4MB of flash. Changes from V03.25 to V03.26 -- For better support for Macintosh users, a newer release of the netatalk project code (1.6.3) has been used. (Had been 1.6.0) SmartMirror (rsync) -- path names to directories below share-level had been limited to about 50 chars. Now path lengths can be 500 chars. Also, more status information is written to the system log and to the detailed smart-mirror log, to help work problems with smart-mirror login, path names, and permissions. NFS -- List of IP-addresses for NFS clients can now be of length 1000 chars. Maximum file size limit of 2GB removed. File added for Dubai timezone, UTC+4. Note that even though the Macintosh code has been updated, passwords for Macintosh for this release are still handled in clear-text -- the code for handling the encryption still will not fit within the available 4MB flash space. Note for NFS -- to make use of files larger than 2GB after update to this firmware, each client will need to un-mount and re-mount the NFS directories. Changes from V03.24 to V03.25 (and included in V03.26) -- Fixed a problem which could result in system lock-up after some sequence of NFS operations. System operation would continue even though rpc.portmap would fail, leaving a zombie process using up system space. Eventually (3 days at one site) a limit would be hit and the system would lock-up. Fixed in V03.25. Fixed a problem after initial boot-up from factory-defaults condition in which the name of the node, as shown on an LCD panel, would be "DZ_" or "ZBAD". November 14, 2003
